DOT Physical

If your physical status is on pending and is set to expire does the info you gave get submitted to the federal or does it get erased?

 

I had this issue this past October. Supervisor wanted to wait until the week-of to get me to go do my physical. It basically expired while it was pending, I still showed up to work and did my job. Eventually it submitted itself and I self-certified. Hope this helps

I am NOT a nazi but I have tried really hard to understand your sentence and cannot do it.

 

I took a physical 1 month ago, the doctor did not pass or fail me but instead left it on pending because I need to give more documentation about something. I want to go to a different doctor to get my physical done. Will the information I submitted to the first doctor still get submitted to the federal government or will it all be erased if I don' complete my physical with him.

I told the doctor I am taking a psych med and he wants a certified letter of approval from a psychiatrist stating I am stable to operate a motor vehicle and left my physical status on pending but I am planning on stopping the meds and taking a physical with a different doctor and not disclosing I am taking meds. Will the federal government see that I told one doctor one thing and told another doctor another or will the information I disclosed to the first doctor not be submitted to the federal government because he didn't pass or fail me?

 

Each physical you take will show new results. Unless it is the same doctor, no other doctor may have the same results. I have never had my last results affect the next test that was taken.

Variations that can affect testing.
-Having to walk a greater distance can change your heart rate.
-A doctor whom wears a lab coat can create the "white collar syndrome". Some people are affected by doctors whom where lab coats and blood pressure has been known to skyrocket.
-Being attracted to some one you saw on the way in.
-Wether or not you had a meal prior to the test
-Flourescent lighting over incandescent lighting will affect your vision test
These are just some of the things that can throw off a test. Also remember that when you go to a new company, even tho you have a medical card doesnt mean they will accept it. Companies usually will have you tested with their doctor. So just because you have a card, does not mean it is valid.

 

This is gonna be my first ever medical card. The only thing I am worried about is the doctor I recently saw submitting my info to the federal government even though he said my status is pending.

 

Sure, lets just lie right out of the gate. What could go wrong with that?
Or were you planning to answer correctly the question of mental illness and still have to do the same explanation?
And btw, Dr. shopping for a med card is illegal.
