Be sure you're educated on the regulations before you call. 9 times out of 10, in my experience, drivers that wanted to make a complaint regarding regulations were not actually asked to violate regulations. Overall, this is good information to have.

and read up on these while you're at it

I saved that number although how's that going to stop carriers right then and their?Unfortunately drivers complaints gets buried under the thousands of other complaints they have.Carriers could care less how many drivers turn them in because they know FMCSA won't do anything.

suggest you and all driver keep a personal journal, keep a record of all dispatches and conversations with you dispatcher and any orders, plus your thoughts or actions of the matter,,this record can be used in court,,any time your company wants you to do something that is not legal,,tell them you do not want to do anything illegal,,ASAS find an other job when this happens and file a complaint with the DOT,,you have to have a record of the incident ,,your journal will do and any other documents,, their is a federal whistle blower act for truck drivers,,
Stand tall do what is right,,support your company and job but you also have rights,,
Also post and tell everyone you know who the company is,,and when you work for a company that does right tell the world too,
