how much does it cost to install a Hendrickson 13K drop axle steerable on a trailer?? How much do they weigh?? Can any trailer take one??
its gonna vary greatly depending on what has to be done to be able to mount the drop on the trailer. and what type of trailer
Hand you have a disaster in the making. The frame won't hold it. They do frames for a reason. 13 + 20 + 20 is 53K Stress it puts on the frame. It will work for awhile.
if you're looking to do a heavy frame flat, they're about $10-12 grand installed. They do them on vans here in Canada with heavy crossmembers and a subframe from the rear bogies to the 3rd (or 4th) axle. Done properly they work well.
