google stores every tid bit of your personal data and uses it towards their own gain where others claim they don't and won't.

for example, deleting your history on google only removes it from sight, its still stored for their own use.

 

Thus my comment about supporting those companies that minimize your exposure, and not support those companies that increase your exposure.

I don't use Google/Facebook
I use DuckDuckGo vs Google
I don't use Google/FaceBook for 3rd party

As I said, "perfect" is not possible but if we try to support companies and actively avoid abusive companies, it might help promote online security and privacy.

yep, foot print data on thge web is for sale... one can make a buck from native seeds. ever tried to harvest any?

 

One guy that is deep into software programming suggested instead of fighting privacy to simply corrupt the data buy completing different data sets with blatantly false info... Sometimes complete as a female in her 50s and some times complete as a male in his 30s...

Basically trash up the data that is mined.
