i have one dui in 2003 and i went to alcohol classes charges dismissed, then i got another one in 2005 and was convicted of class c misdemeanor, would any company hire me?my mvr is clean with no points right now. Looking to get started trucking if possible
Most carriers will look past one DUI older than 5 years, but the fact that you got a second one sends up all kinds of red flags, and I don't know of too many that would want to take a chance on a repeat offender.
You are pretty much screwed. I do know a company that would probably hire you. And they'll screw you.... and screw you..... and screw you..... and screw you..... You get the point??? Because after all where are you going to go if you quit them??? Work at McDonalds?? I wouldn't waste the money on school unless you get some prehires. Even then thats not set in stone!!
k sorry for askin, i did get the first dui dismissed in court but i guess that doesnt matter, its technically my first and i went down to my police dept to find that information out but thanks
