I keep seeing threads where guys are graduating truck driving school and want to know where to find a job, or what their options are. My question is, are folks actually plumping down a few grand and going to school without exploring the options and job situation first? I mean this is just wrong, in my way of thinking. I know some states, new Mexico for one, started pushing driving schol to people that signed up for unemployment, and paying for it. To me this was a way to get drivers in the industry that didn't really have the interest in it, or didn't even need to be in it.
Hi I just barely graduated trucking school. How do I get a driving job? My instructor said I would make good money. How much should I be making? Will my EBT benefits be cut off after I start working? Can I smoke pot while off duty? I want to be home nightly and make $90,000 per year working 10 hour days, how likely am I going to be able to do this? Thanks in advance Timmy.
"I just got my cdl and working otr isnt an option. Where should I get a job?" If you have to ask something like that on the internet, then you're probably gonna have a bad time.
I just graduated cdl school and looking at buying my own truck. What brand is good and how do I find loads?
I was told by Prime I could lease a truck has anybody done that and had good luck? Those new Freightliner Cascadia look sweet.
