so got my dyno report today ....truck was set at 470 and it peeked at 400 ...3.3 blow by??? is that something i should worry about? 2003 freight century 12.7 l ..13 speed 816k miles what do you guys think? its def more than 80%
That seems about normal you have at least 80% of your horsepower going to your wheels so thats a good start...but with that amount of miles I would change that bull gear just to be safe... Detroit recommends having it changed out every 750,000mi...
3.3 inches (in H2O) is normal. I recall the last shop on my dyno run were saying that when you get up around 10-15 inches is when it's time for a rebuild.
If they did the run correctly, you will see the does because they ran it in 7 direct. True 1:1 out of the Trans. Direct gearing. Everything else looks good to me.
You peak is from 1300 -1700rpm when you read the sheet. Mean at 65 mph, you'll be in 13 @ about 1375-1400 rpm.
