I have a c13 Lee with DPF. Can I use the non DPF Ecm from a C13 KCB?

I looked over both engines and only difference I seen was the one had the DPF garbage and the other one didn’t.

Im still planning on running a retrofit DPF system just not the ARD head DPF system. It’s easier to program a DPF system into a ECM that didn’t have DPF to begin with.

If the ECM is the same P/N should just be a matter of downloading the Configuration File from the ECM currently in the truck, flashing the new ECM with the correct Flash File and then uploading the configuration to the new ECM.

LEE vs KCB is a lot of differences. 120 Pin ECM vs 70 pin and MEUI-C vs MEUI-B injectors to start with. Easier to fix LEE software.

Im just tryna solve this ARD issue without doing a delete. There is aftermarket DPF systems that are way better than this stock one. I just don't know what issues will happen to delete the CAT system and reprogram the new
