Do not think dealers will touch this, when they change file they have to use Cat system to change interlock. This means Cat will see what they are doing. It can be done, need non cat program to change interlock

Curious, what will the 7CZ ecm get you, over the 6NZ?

The 600 hp file in a c15 gets you alot more torque at lower rpm and is good for 600 hp to the wheels with the right numbers. You really have to watch the pyro and the rad temps, it will run hot.

thanks for the info dds. is there any thing i could do with the 6nz file to make it better, im looking for close to 700 hp. i have 58's, fuel temp wire, dura lite intercooler . im running like 950 degrees on a hard pull with the stock turbo with the waste gate pinched does that seem kinda cool? starting to wonder if the pyro is right

I got 723hp to the ground with 58 injectors, 800 marine cam and 600 turbo. That was with 600 hp 7cz file. Customer works it every day at 63000kg. Same set up but with 59 injectors put out 763hp to the ground. 950 may be right since you have the wastegate pinch, is your boost around 35?, what fuel numbers and file do you have in it. Is it a 550 hp now?

man why cant you live next door:yes2557: its more like 40psi. i dont now the numbers but its a stock 550hp file. i dont really wanna do trim codes cause i want it to run smooth:biggrin_25512: seems like since i put the 58's in i get more soot on the hood at startup is that right?

Id expect over 800 with the 59 injectors. Do you not think that it was a little low expecially since it had the 600 turbo? What version of the 7CZ do you use? Is it true the earlier was are suppose to be good for more fuel cuz of smaller injectors or something with them then the newer ones?

Early 7CZ makes about 20 hp difference to the wheels with no real fuel flow change, so timing must be better in that file.

Wheel hp is real hp, it takes more to get higher readings, 800hp at the wheels is 920 hp at the flywheel with estimated 15% drivetrain loss. That loss can be higher with different tires, diff ratios, number of joints in the drive shafts, and also 20 hp from the fan when engaged.

The 600 hp turbo has a bigger wheel, less back pressure but still only makes 35 to 40 psi safely.

    underpsi Thanks this.
