Hey Truckers Report, I've got an engine code for EGR. I'm going to assume it's stuck or clogged up in there because I use to idle alot before I had an APU

Truck is in the shop now and my co driver and I are in a hotel

    Hypothetically,
If the shop were to just clean it out, how long should they take? Would like to know how long I'll be paying for this hotel room but nobody had a good answer for me

    Thanks

    Edit:
2019 LT, A26 engine, I've put 300,000 miles on it

I've been a company driver for 10 years, no APU, and my idle times have always been very high.
Never had an EGR issue because of it. Usually the DPF system.

Why can't the shop give you a good answer to your question?
