Yes and a lot more. I cant justify purchasing equipment that has no return on investment, and does not improve my small one truck operation. Doesnt make sense. I want a new corvette, but it would be unresponsible to purchase. It would not net a profit. The HOS is huge problem. A eld will not force me to drive different, I own and drive my truck.

That is the point. ELD's can't force you to do anything. People need to realize that. When I ran elogs, I still shut down when I wanted and I still left when I wanted. It didnt grab me and force me into the drivers seat. It sounds like you get it.

I don't think elogs ought to be forced on anyone, and if they are then thry should be free.

Why though? It is a losing effort. The politicans only care about one thing. Money. And no one can pay the politicans more than what the lobbyists can.

I guess it just aint worth it to me cause when I was otr I liked elogs. I am a yard jockey now, no logs what so ever, just a time clock.

Good luck with your efforts though.
