Thanks guys I’m super excited about this opportunity but still remain cautious and nervous the driving part doesn’t bother me but the dumping does lol
I know it gets intimidating but also pay attention to how it’s loaded, also if it starts doing something funky In the air either put it down early or put it to the boards so you can get the load to break out of the nose and make sure you run the piston into the last stage (try to stop a smidge short so you don’t slam the piston) guys get scared and put them up 3/4 of the way which changes the center of gravity and will get them to roll as well, and any time you go into a landfill try and put a piece of plastic in the nose
I’m gonna try it all I can say if I don’t like is it’s not for me we will be hauling to ports and stuff of that nature and dumping on a barge people have told me horror stories but I’m gonna take it slow
No not at all I’m just new to this trucking I’ve driven dump trucks a bunch but never a tractor trailer only when I got my cdl
