hey all. hopefully testing for cdl in a week or so depending on when i get to road training for swift in minnesota. i have my permit and ive been studying for the tank, doubles/triples and hazmat endorsements. can i take them now while i have a permit and have them show up on the permit and then have them carry over for my full CDL or should i wait till i have my cdl?

    DocWatson Thanks this.

Take them now. What about the combo vehicle endorsement? Didn't you take that? You could have taken them all at once.

The cost (if I remember correctly) will be around $100. And then another $100 or so for Haz Mat. Don't forget your TWIC card as well.
Swift should reimburse you for the Haz Mat & TWIC I believe.

How did you get your other endorsements if you are first required to have a CDL?
