Was wondering if anyone knows how to get into dump where to start looking been driving a lil intermodal in Chicago and regional Midwest but been wondering about the dump industry seems interesting so if anyone has any info I would appreciate it thank.
Beelman Truck Co. (based out of East St. Louis....terminals in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, and Alabama) hires new and inexperienced dump drivers. Mostly all day runs (so you'd need to be halfway close to a terminal). Overall I would not recommend them as they can be snakes and also are continuously trying to find ways to take driver's bonuses, however, it would get ya in the door and get some experience. Then you could move on to a bigger or better company like Woody Bogler or Ben Shinn, or something along the lines of Page or Oakley.
