What is the best state to register an EZ-Pass account in? Currently my trucks are with NJ but I'm ready to switch to NY unless there is a better option. NY appears to be the only state offering a significant discount (25%) on the major NY bridge crossings. A $60 toll reduced to $45 is significant to me. There is also no deposit required for the transponder, and the monthly fee is only .50. This seems to be the best choice among the states offering the service. Is there a better deal out there?
