the driver side headlight BLINKER died on my 680, I haven't replaced it just yet i just noticed it.. Was wondering how hard or easy this is? I know this MAY be kind of a dumb question. I know the LED headlights are very expensive, but the blinker bulb i can buy from any truck stop right? I went inside and they had 3 different kinds so if someone could fill me in on this very difficult job I'd much appreciate it ;)

Easy job, drop hood, remove thumbscrew, and plastic cover behind headlights.
Turn the bulb housing left to remove.
Dont touch new bulb, with your fingers when installing.
Turn bulb housing right to tighten.
    Replace plastic cover and thumbscrew.

I rather go to Petro. What if I break the transmission with a bad light bulb???

Lol just take it out, go in the store and get the same exact one. This solution works on every bulb.

Just replaced one on my friend's 680. It's just a regular 3157/3057 amber bulb. You'll find one easy enough at any truck stop, Wallyworld, or auto parts store.
