It depends on what the felony is. But, as a felon, I came to this forum years ago asking the same question as you. The longest I have been without a job since I got my CDL(at Swift cdl school btw) was 1 month. And that was mostly due to unforced errors on my part and taking my sweet ### time looking for a new job.

get your cdl and do a half ### decent job of protecting it and don’t kill anyone and you’ll be good.

as for which company will take you initially, I’d apply with them all if they have cdl training. Some care, some couldn’t give less of a ####. They just want warm bodies.

 

Thank you, I'm excited school starts Monday, and I will apply for every company I can.. I plan to go over the road I'm single with no children so I plan to give it my all
