That pay level is for little to no experience. And the .01 cpm pet charge is tax deductable according to my CPA. Not to mention I average 2800 miles a week. Some weeks more, some less.

I stand corrected I see on a recruiting website that they offer .31 with 2 years under your belt. (so that would be .30 for our friend with his pet)

Your pay statement would show the paid miles at .31 and in the deductions would be "Pet Charge" at miles paid X .01 = Total charge for the week. So your pay statement shows the money charged making it easier to figure what to claim when filing your taxes.

Actually, they are paying .27/mile for newbies right now, according to the recruiter last week. So the pay scales are lower across-the-board for experienced as well. You can always go per-diem to help, but I'm not sure if they "charge" to do that (a crock for sure, since you are helping out the company immensely...but that's another discussion).

The pay scale was given to me by the recruiter, with 1 years experience, and she said that the pay scale had changed last week, so the site hasn't been updated yet. $500-$600 a week is before taxes... still a little thin.

Sounds like they may have changed the pay scale right after I talked with my recruiter. I'll have to see what newbie pay has changed to (if at all).

well i think ffe is a rip off, i went thru orientation, but after my 1st trip out i knew I wouldnt be able to drive because of my carpal tunnel so I told them to get me back in, i had been off for a year and really thought I would be able to do it . so they sent me my check and didnt even pay me a penny a mile , I was told I would be getting .35 a mile ( I have 12 years exp). here is a copy of what they paid me . a flat rate of $18.41 for driving from dallas TX to KC MO (dh-KC MO to new Century KS) then New Century KS to Dallas TX , its done on legal paper so I had to make 2 copies to show it. Not sure if pic are rite so I pasted a link too. but any how they paid me a flat rate of $18.41 for both trips, for a total of $36.82 for 996 miles and to thier credit they did pay me the $8.50 cash I use to pay for a toll, and no I didnot take out any advances ( I thought that would be wrong) so I end up screwed , guess I'll call ooida and see what can be done .
