Well, I'm finally getting the ball rolling on my new trucking career. I have already been taught how to drive from my uncles who both have their own fleets but I decided to go through school anyway. School is going to be 2 weeks with a minimum 50 hrs drive time, so it seems a lot better than a lot of schools I have read about on here. I already have a job lined up after I am finished school. I am starting my trucking career with a specialized fleet with 6-7 trucks because I wanted to go OTR without going with a big carrier because I dont believe in the load-stealing ######## to tell you the truth. They're just like the railroad lol. Im so excited to start school in a week!!!!
You'll be ahead of the game with the hands on you already have. Maybe one of the uncles need a driver in one of their fleets....
They probably do, but they have the same last name as me, which makes them cheap F*cks, so Id rather not drive for them lol. Working for family is all fun n games until you work a 44 hour shift with no sleep lol. Welcome to working for my family lol.
