Talked to a recruiter today. He was a nice guy, and appeared honest. Told me the good and bad. You are guaranteed $1200 weekly. If you make $900 you get $1200. If you make $1500 you get that. Based on 1900 miles a week, but you can be dispatched anytime. Also a Tuesday through Saturday deal. Glad to see some guaranteed money coming. Lets hope other companies see the change, and the light.

You thinking of heading up to Murfreesboro to work for them? Is it a dedicated like with Kroger?

They run all over. You are out 5. Not exactly what I wanted, but the money sure is tempting. Just posted because of that. Things are changing I believe for drivers, slowly but surely, for the better.

I can agree with that. I always felt like there were so many options to somewhat suit drivers' needs. I am a little easier going about the whole thing because I actually like otr. My buddy's that drove for Firstfleet and his idiot self got fired from them. He was OTR for them. He kept trying to stay at the house too long. He missed an important delivery to Rhode Island I believe it was, after they made it possible for him to get home spur of the moment. He did well there. Nonetheless, that is a sweet deal. I'd take it

I think those are coming from Auburn Indiana. I know I see them heading that way when leaving Gas City.

Does anyone have any experience with First Fleet out of Dothan, AL? I know they pull a lot of Georgia Pacific and IP in my area.

Back in the day I ran for fleet out of Henderson ky IP and did many runs to Florida with a pickup in Dothan or pine hill Alabama IP. Was always work.

Fleet was a decent carrier. Some how the owner is related to who ever owns Averitt and First express. I didn’t mind working for them the dedicated to once customer is very nice. They always keep new equipment as it’s leased. Pay was decent bsck then I’m sure it’s gone up by now.
