A friend of mine just walked away from a lease purchase with them 2 weeks ago. Not enough miles, not enough money. He's back to flatbed now.

Was he solo? I have heard teams getting 6000-7000 miles a week. I am open to hear any information on them I can get.

He was solo, but the teams weren't doing much better according to him. Recruiting will tell you anything to get you to sign up.

Besides everyone knows lease purchase is a joke. Enter that in the search if you want to hear some horror stories.

We have leased before and did very well. Unfortunately due to my parents health we had to come off the road a few years ago. We are ready to go back OTR now but don't have the means to go the conventional route of buying a truck right now. You can be successful with a lease even though it may not be the ideal route.

Did you do well enough to buy your truck?

We did. However with the health issues with my parents the money saved up had to go elsewhere. 😞

I love it when people slam lease purchase deals. Not all leases are bad some are but it is also up to the person as well as the company. I have bought two trucks out right one new one used. I also completed two lease purchase deals and received the title to both. Did quite well with the leases ran hard but you always work hard when its all on yourself. If you want to succeed that is.
