so I just bought a 2004 W900 with ag380 rear suspension. The rears are in adjustment 8 1/2 inch to axle center laden. The rear frame is 39 1/2 inches off the floor. The front frame is 42 inches high. I have owned a few trucks, and this doesn't seem right. Every other truck was level end to end. I believe it has the wrong springs in front as they are beefy 2 leaf springs and I thought an 04 W900 had 4 leafs. Any thoughts? Thanks for your time
All trucks should have a forward rake to them. yours seems to have backwards rake. What size rims on the rears and what size on the steers? ;lets start with that
And bobtail the rear goes up 1/4 inch like it should. I bought this truck sight unseen because I am a gluten for punishment.
I haven't taken it to a scale yet, but I can throw a trailer on it and move the 5th wheel back and forth without squatting the front. I think maybe someone put some real heavy springs up there
All the rubber is really nice virgin goodyear. And low pro 22.5 would only bring me down an inch or so. I need 2 and a half.
I have all that beef on my pete 379 tiraxle steer axle. i run 20k pounds all day and everyday on my front axle. I weigh it when getting on the scales at work. I run standard ai trac rear. It was forward rake unloaded. So just saying, i dont think beefed up 20 k springs actually raise the height like that. Just saying. But hey i dont know everything
