Frustrated

I know about 12-14 years ago, when I was at Dayton Freight Lines, they were putting new hires in new trucks. I asked about that, and my manager said company wide, too many prospective drivers were turning down the job offer when they saw what tractor they would be assigned. For me, I didn’t care as that was when they were transitioning to auto-shifts, which I didn’t want to drive.

Don't delay too much.....you don't want that CDL to get stale before it was ever used. Delaying getting that first job only makes it more difficult than it already has been for you.
