Is anyone else having trouble with satellite signal today? Both my PeopleNet and my Rand McNally can't pick up any signal. I'm using my phone and going oldschool with the atlas for now, but I'm just wondering if it's an isolated incident or not. I'm in southern Michigan, if it matters. Rand quit working just west of 275.

Check space weather center online. It's similar to storm prediction center and will tell you if there is a active CME from the sun.

It's that peice of paper that navigates by the stars. LIke what pirates used back in the day. Works great in the ocean but forget it once you hit land.

Some people just refuse to grow up and get with the times to update their technology. Or just can't handle technology. In either case, they always insist on harping those of us that embrace the power to make our lives so much more simpler.

I remember the pirate days. Where i'd spend my days plotting my course. Then once i arrive in to town i had to walk to the pay phone and hope someone answered for directions to get me unloaded. Writing down every step of the way. Hoping they knew the best way for me to write down directions to get out of town, hopefully going the way i need to go to my way reload and not the opposite way. But then, everyone spoke english back then also.

These days, i simply input my address and just drive. I can get twice as much done now. My paychecks have doubled in size. And i get twice the sleep. All without ever using a pen to paper or a phone.

    GOD I LOVE TECHNOLOGY.

Don't forget when you had to manually adjust the sundial when crossing time zones. Of course, the earth was flat back then, so we got better fuel economy by blowing black smoke.
