    I like this blue parrot...

It works on crackers, but it seems to have an echo problem.

My wife bought me the Blue Parrot B250-XT for Christmas. Picked it up at a Loves in Tennessee. Came highly recommended, and is priced right as a starter unit... $79.99 Amazon has them too, with free shipping!

I have both Blue Parrot 250-XT & 250+XT. THE plus model will work well for phone calls Plus it plays bluetooth audio from your phone. The -XT models just work for phone calls

those are okay in cars, but no so much in trucks. don't have the volume or the noise cancelling, and nowhere near the battery life. They are designed for 'mobile professionals' not professional mobilers.

Works great at noise cancelling contrary to what you said....
But you are correct that the big monstrous headsets that make you look like a football coach on Superbowl Sunday do have better battery life if you don't mind looking stupid wearing one.
