I just joined this forum this evening and am eager to learn from all of you. I have been in the trucking industry for about two years, and it has been a rollercoaster ride the whole time! I was in customer service in the company where I work for 15 years, they created a distribution manager position and I was offered the job & jumped at it. Little did I know what I was getting into! I had no idea what the position entailed of,thank god I payed attention to my hubby's backyard mechanics over the years, at least I knew some of the basics! I am very fortunate that I have a great crew of drivers, each of them have their own lil "quirks" but we teach and look out for each other every day. After reading through the different forums I look forward to meeting new people and learning from all of you. Thanks for letting me ramble!

Welcome! Yes, you can learn a lot from here, but its also about fun too! The Ladies Room is where it all happens, and if you happen to love chocolate, you will fit in here right away! Last Post Wins is the (almost) live yapping, there is someone there pretty much 24/7, supposed to be talking about everything, but at least twice every 24 hours it comes back to food. Just so you know!
