I decided to join this forum to learn from others experiences! I'm 18 now and am working towards getting my CDL, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Can't wait to learn from everyone!

Welcome aboard. Always great to hear young blood interested in the industry. You're pushing it a bit, usually 21 or even 24 is the minimum age, for insurance reasons, but never too young to get into it. I suggest working on a dock somewhere. You'll get to understand how trucks should be loaded and you may get to move some trucks around the yard. Keep in mind what you want to do. Box, tanker, flatbed, dump, then where you want to go, OTR, regional, or day cab local. Saves a lot of time and money trying to undo what you were trained for. Good luck.
