OK so Im kinda like the old dog that everyones been tryin to teach new tricks... Ive been trucking for 27 yrs. Been up and down the road a time or 2 But this new age of electronics,well...Kinda new to me.. Ive seen the good and bad in the industry...And I'll tell you all now..Its alot better than it used to be...My first load..No training on Driving,securing loads,or paperwork.. The only thing I really had going for me was,I could read a map..... My first load..The owner handed me a pair of keys,to an overloaded flatbed load,and said "Be in Bishopville SC in the morning"... Trial by fire.. And even tho Im an old timer..Im kind of a rookie..I start a new job monday for Marten Transport...Live and learn.. Looking forward to alot of good discussions here.. sumwrnusa
