Hello - I just passed my driving test after 5k training miles. woo hoo!!! Right now I work for an oilfield (gasfield in our area) services company and will be driving mostly off-road with some highway miles. On my very first assignment driving solo I had to ask my supervisor "you want me to go up THERE!?" and I did - without killing myself or (more importantly to some) not breaking the truck :> What was really fun was that I went up the side of the mountain in the daylight and had to come back down after dark. So I knew what was out there but couldn't see it. My supervisor just said, don't drop a wheel or roll off the cliff. ha! Needless to say I was very happy to get off the mountain that night. So far I like driving and if it doesn't work out with my current employer I think I would like to drive. We'll see...
