I've got to be truthful here and tell you that I retired before the background check came into play. So I can only give my opinion and I believe it shouldn't be all that big of a deal. I think I'd be upfront with all your applications so you could relax about the issue. You don't want to be hired and then have them find out. I don't mean that you would hide any information intentionally all I'm saying is let the company deal with it. I also believe when you're upfront with everything it can be a plus for you too.
