And what “ great price” is on this school? The one you’re supposed to pay for yourself through the weekly deductions you mentioned. Not to mention the; “them paying for it” is a complete lie.
Sounds like the dealio Driver Solutions has with Pam. Dang.... listen to Six and Ridge, man. They're quite the experienced guys around here. Best of luck, however it plays out. (I drove for USX back in the 90's ... they weren't too bad back then, IMHO. I didn't have to team. @Chinatown .... didn't you drive for them as well, iirc?)
is there any signed agreement/ contract with usexpess? Seems funny how their quite willing to make payments on your behalf if there's no agreement best go read any contract. You've signed very carefully . even if they've fired you they may want any monies paid by them to be reimbursed.
It seems to me, a person's experience with the mega carriers is all by chance. Every company has had a trainees that love them, and trainees that hate them. To my knowledge, you're going to have to run teams, as part of your training, if you train with an OTR company. I won't discourage you from filling out applications, but if US Express offers you a new trainer, I'd go see what they're like. There are other companies that do tuition reimbursement as well. Maybe you can find a job in a better sector.
The school was called premier CDL services and I think it was through driver recourses they have 2 companies they contract to us Xpress and Hogan
I went to Roadmasters on my own dime (when us ole guys had to get recertified) but yeah, that sounds like Driver Solutions. << Sure it wasn't them? Pretty sure they farm to PAM and USX anymore.
