Saftey is like wearing a bullseye on your crest. In my 15 years of experience in aviation safety, you aren't really liked but when it hits the fan you are expected to provide answers.

Then you have folks who just bash the crap out of safety's intent and call it stupid or don't you have something better to do? My answer has been yes I always have better things to do instead of providing a safer environment for the end user.

Welcome- make yourself comfortable. "End user" isn't like a secret code or anything, is it?

I've always wanted to follow the trucking industry but I had a lapse of about twenty years after I drove OTR for the Navy. I went to sea and just got caught up in other stuff and when I went to college I was able to do a few term papers on the industy and I have a lot of friends I grew up with that are OTR. Funny thing I was supposed to be the professional driver.....

You drivers keep our country going and it is like you all are invisible to the rest of the country. I mean really folks are that clueless.

    dave26027 Thanks this.

Hi Swift Safety, my husband is a driver for Swift. I'm new here too.
