IM HIRED!!!!!

    So i got a phone call last week about coming in again to fill out more paper work...so i rushed home across 13 states to make it back..

    Walked in today, told me my starting pay....top out in 18 months...and told me what day i start training in nashville at saia!

    Took my driving test...nailed it
    Drug test...easy...
    Physical....everything came back great EXCEPT i gotta do a sleep apnea study....ehhh part of being almost 7 foot tall and 400lbs....

    Im only nervous because i dont like change and i really hope this is the company i can retire at...
    Mind you im only 26...lol

    Good luck, man. I've heard mostly good things about Saia. LTL is one of the best kept secrets of the industry. Everyone sees us running around, but most of them don't know how good we've got it.

    You're tall, good luck on your sleep abnea testing.I don't understand why you have to take that test if you're going to be home every day.Is sala paying for it?

    Yes saia pays for it...i won't be home every day, I'll be a system driver so sleeping in hotels and home 34 to 48 hours a week

    I agree...90 percent of the driver's at my terminal have been there over 20 years.... hoping im the same
