Interstate driving?

    I am 19 years old with my Class A CDL. I was reading on another forum were someone said that if you were under the age of 21 you could drive out of state if you did team driving. I was just wondering if anyone else knew something about that.

    according to FMCSA website, the answer is NO

    The regs are very clear on this, and there is no ambiguity in the law.....whoever reported you could drive out of state doing team driving was most certainly wrong.......unless you stay in the sleeper when you cross the state line and stay there, but that kinda defeats the purpose of team driving. :)

    NEGATIVE.Used to work with an owner operator that was pissed because he was 20 and couldn't cross the state line!
