I'm not sure will I find them in Russia ore Europe. so, gemtelmen, can I hope you will help me to purchase them.... may be you may tell me the price...
Usually you can mix injectors/engines if they use same type injectors. Difference might be in nozzle orifice count/size/angle. Engine will run with different injectors, sometimes even better. I think even some Scania injectors will fit certain ISX engines.
You can mix and match injectors on pre 2010 ISX, after jan 1st 2010 you will need a computer to do a simple injector swap because of the injector code that needs to be written into the ecm. Didn't know if you knew that.
Hi Pablo, We communicated one time about HId's a while ago. I have another question about my 09' Volvo with D16 engine. Since I bought it, it has problems with a poor fuel milage, so I decided to put it in the shop to a guy who used to be a truck driver. His goal was to make money without being on the road: and he made it. He started to play with EGR on all kinds of engines and in the last couple of years he has been very sucessful. I recently talked to him and he doesn't have any experience to shut down a whole system (EGR, DPF, and Injector no. 7)on 09' Volvo Truck so it is not a big deal to bypass the EGR. What do you think? Do you have any ideas or experience that could help me? Please email me as soon as you can. I speak and understand Russian too. Thank you and I'm looking forward to hear from you, Johann Geringer
The original ISX injectors are not mixable with the updated ones ( pre-dpf ) per cummins AU. they flow different as everyone who has fitted them gained HP out here. i do not remember which CPL changed to the new style, but i suggest contactin cummins directly and enquiring so as to get the story.
