No doubt JCT is a good company. But right about now I'm feeling glad that I stayed where I'm at.

I'm delivering a $2/mile load this morning and picking up a $4/mile load this afternoon. It's been an excellent week. Not to mention very profitable.
And an awesome start to 2011.
Percentage really pays off when recessions end!

yes, I have been known to have memory lapses... Just ask my misses...lol... But this forum and all its great info is what helped me make up my mind on what direction I felt like I needed to go. I am looking at the first of march coming over or a lil sooner if they will let me.

Does anyone know if both drivers need minimum of a year driving experience? Or just the primary lessee? My uncle and I are interested in running team for JCT. I don't have any OTR experience just some local. By the way LMB I've gone through quite a bit of this thread and have enjoyed your insight. You seem like a pretty laid back guy.

Yes all prospective drivers MUST have a minimum of 1 year of 48 state OTR experience before they will even consider you. Thats why I am having to wait till march cuz they wouldnt acknowledge my local driving time. It must be verifiable also. They wont just take your word on it. This I was told by my recruiter is something that they are very strict on.

One of the things that I helped me the most in making my decision to come work for JCT is the fact that I talked to probably a dozen or more current JCT drivers ranging from just a few months to 5 plus yrs with them and have yet to hear anything negative about them. Gotta give JCT some credit there cuz you definitly dont hear that about most other companies.
