BTW...Why is it so many drivers on here complain about the t/s only offering fast food, then when a truck stop does have "sit down" restraunt they all ##### and complain about the price.
Cause we just want a meal, not actually purchase the building that it's located in. Eat at Jubitz or inframe?
I just flew my driver home, well flying he leaves the second, so his truck can stay in Phoenix. I told him I could either fly him home and back, or we could have lunch at Jubitz. Can't afford both.
I know Jubitz is a little on the high side as far as the full menu pricing go's but its a clean, well maintained, well marked, (I know stupididly blind side but still well marked), FREE parking, (at a location that could easily do the spend $20 thing like t/a does), so I will gladly give them my business because they are spending that money not just hording it like most mom & pops do.
TA in Troutdale has all that PLUS screaming delicious Chinese next door in the corner of the Love's parking lot. Lunch special $7. Pics are on the "completely satisfied " thread. I gave some guy a few bucks that was sleeping in a loading dock, said he ate breakfast at Jubitz, then his truck broke, and he had no money to get it fixed.
There was another dude, teeth were all chipped and broken. I was going "Dude what happened? " He's like "I had a salad at Jubitz. "
Yeah, not much competition in the area for the volume of parking needed. They don't really give a ####. They are just there squeezing the tete for all it's worth.
