    Greetings to All:

Just started investigating Trucking as a career. Since the economy has slowwed I will be able to make a new start and visit you all on the open road.

My children are leaving the roost (1 child at home now) and all of this will work out Lord willing.

I have spent time on this site looking at schools, Trucking firms, payscales, complaints and a lot of other issues. WOW

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Yes things have changed badly. There are not many loads at my company we are going to get one load in this week and stayed out two weeks to get about 3 loads. It's not good. If you have a job keep it, don't change horses right now if you are paying your bills.

Well doggy I think Rick gave some good places to research....people see thses truck with these signs painted on them makin ya think its all easy money and the loads can be few and far between.....do some reading here from guys who are with companies that you are interested in and see the facts....and ask questions......my company let go over 300 trucks this past month as well as office staff......and we are owner operators! just not that many loads I have ran more this week than the last 3 weeks combined........
