Either Verizon (VZW) or AT&T. If you are currently on either, might as well stay there. VZW has been the leader for coverage, but AT&T has pretty much closed the gap. Both have areas they don't cover.

Either way, mobile data is expensive. Try to find WiFi wherever you can; I've found open WiFi in the most unlikely of places.

I used to have a cell and a jet pack, but when I switched to the IPhone I got the hot spot for free. I am on Verizon as well. I pulled the sim card from jetpack and got a pre paid sim card from Telus and now use the jet pack in Canada for internet.

Agreed with the other suggestions. Other things to look for are these hot spots provided by these companies. If you have Comcast service at home they have hot spots all over (currently expanding) you can use by simply putting in your username. Also phone companies like ATT have hot spots to use when there aren't just regular wifi spots available.

On the road I used about 15 to 18 Gigs per month...My plan included 20 Gigs for about $120 USD. 4 dollars a day to stream live off the Internet. But it allowed me to stream while driving which was great, I could listen to what I wanted instead of what they wanted at sirius radio. Also watched movies and used it to correspond online. Yes, please do factor in the cost of Data!

Where do you find movies and TV shows to download?
