I worked for Maverick for over 2 1/2 years. Got 2 years safe driving awards, 2 years exceeding mpg awards, and only 1 late delivery. After giving them a 2 week notice I got a "no rehire" notice on my DAC. I did have 2 incidents involving freight damage and damage to my truck. After a month I finally received a payment for personal payment of fuel. Now that I'm working for a different company I don't care, but I think Maverick may back stab their former drivers.

Perhaps, but it hurt my feelings! So much for doing a good job and being rewarded for it.

Don't take it personal . I worked for a big chemical company worked my butt off no accidents no cargo claims and i got the same thing on mine. I think they look at like you didn't stay now so why should they hire you back later for you just to leave again. Its a crappy i know but just move on and forget them losers

I never had any issues. I was a rehire with them and my reports are rehireable. When I went with mercer I seen the ap that mercer ran and it questioned former employers if they would rehire me and mav said yes. The last dac I ran was rehire by them. I also get a card from them every now and then asking if I would like to come back.

I have had the same issues with former employers. Even though the company will say "we cant tell you the reason", I believe we should the reason why we are not rehireable.
