so for the lack of maybe $5,000 (or less) in permits and workers moving things out of the way, they each now face $125,000 in fines.

a couple of really stupid Cajuns..

I spent quite a bit of time living and working in south Louisiana. The Cajuns I knew were some of the best people I've ever had the pleasure to be around.

They seem to be okay with the way they speak.

What, they wouldn't be stupid if they came from some other ethnic group?

This story is what I like to call funny. Lol I have done some dumb things in my life. Maybe they didn't think anyone would see them

It's funny, I don't argue that at all. I think most of us have pulled an illegal trailer and gotten away with it. I have. But moving a whole house and thinking that nobody would notice? That's optimism taken to the nth degree.
It would have been funny no matter what ethnic group they came from.
