marten transport

marten transport is a joke and the biggest joke is the owner . They terminated me from doing what the breakdown instructed me to do on the computer. when i did as i was to do in a snow storm mind you, the truck got damaged(transmission went out) and i was held accountable for the damage. then 2 months after i got canned, the owner filed a lawsuit against the manufacturer of the transmission because the company was having too many trucks breaking down because of "transmissions" going out on their trucks. Did i get an apology from the company, NO, did they offer my job back NO, but they did put on my DAC report a violation against company policy due to equipment. Like I said the company is a joke, and when I brought this to the owners attention it was not a concern to him, but I did get the impression from him, that for every driver he dismisses or loses, he has 100 to replace, so why take the time to do the right thing when you can just ignore it and move on. And now after 20 tears of experience, I can not even get another OTR or any kind of driving job because of his lies and idiocracy towards drivers.
P.S. my nephew QUIT them after i was canned because he was related to me and he went from 3000+ miles a week to 1000 to 1500 miles a week within 2 weeks after i was terminated.

Not that I don't believe you BUT I think there 's more to this then you followed R/S orders and the trannie busted. You made more more mistakes then that. You have crossed them before or did something else they didn't like.

I'm sorry but there's more to this story. They are hard #####. If it was driver err that busted the tranny then yea they will fire you in a hart beat. On the other hand they are fair to. If you followed R/S orders as they where written on the QuallComm then they would never blame you. They wouldn't be happy but they wouldn't fire you over it. There is more to this.

 

Marten to me is just an average big outfit. Don't care about the drivers, cause they are a dime a dozen. I agree getting fired for doing what your told sucks, but at the same time you had to have done something else to get them to do that. Good luck in the future.

 

Marten transport is a greedy no miles ########. All the good dispatchers there quit or are desperately looking for another job. The dumbshits that don't know how to pick their noses like Michelle Rud are considered "star performers" cuz their fleets don't have any lates. Well, when all the loads are 400 miles long and have three days to deliver, how could you POSSIBLY be late?! Have fun getting 1500 miles a week. Quit now while you can, before they fire you and torpedo your DAC
