How much boost are you guys pushing on your mbe4000?
I get about 22-23 psi. Is that normal or do I got a leak somewhere?

Maximum boost of OM460 is 30 PSI. Over 30 psi it throws overboost fault code

    25(2)+2 Thanks this.

MBE got closet crankcase vent system and if u have leak - u can see some oil there.

But low boost may be related with exaustm manifold leak ore stuck turbo brake ore reed valves, egr (Euro-III/EPA 2002 engines), clogged DPF....

    sergk1989 and toss009 Thank this.

I will be taking a look at the egr system, I have a feeling it's the problem.
It got worse today, I was going up the mountains with a heavy load and now only 19 psi, couple times it went up to 21psi and you feel it, then after a second back down to 19.

How can I bypass the egr completely? Can I just unplug the egr valve connector when the engine is cold?

to do it u have to reflash ECU, but.... DDCT cant do it. I have to take apart ECM, remove flash memory (AM20F400BB) and reprogram it on bench.

I have Mercedes Star Diagnose to work on MBE engines.

max torque for this engine is 2200 NM

but.... there are torque correction values in its eeprom

may be changed with MiniDiag ore Star diagnose with relevant key.

The true is that correction may be from 90% to 110% in four points.
