Ok guys, I have my own authority that I suspended back in may of 2018. It's over 2 years old and I'm thinking of reactivating it instead of starting a new one and no longer leasing on with companies. Problem I'm having is there are only two companies that will insure in Florida and that's progressive and Berkshire. Neither will insure me because we had 1 inspection the beginning of 2018 which resulted in an out of service because both tires on same trailer axle had a bald spot on them so they shut my truck down and made me switch tires around with a different axle and off I went. Well because it was the only inspection I had and it was an oos I'm at 100% and they wont insure me. Is there a way to remove that?

If you thought rates were bad in May 2018. You surely won't like them now.

As far as the company side is concerned. It only effects score for 2 years.
I don't know if it'll remove itself till 3 years is up. Like the driver side. But I could be wrong.

Try the dataq and fight it. But you probably won't succeed.

This is exactly why fmcsa is supposed to be fixing this mess. I told them the same thing at the truck show. Inspections/oos pretty much only favor the mega companies and barely reflect “safety”. They just reflect scale and proportion ratios. And not really reflecting the whole “purpose” off this system, which is to prevent crashes. If your consistently not getting moving violations, no accidents, then inspections should not be such a warped reality of safety. Just a civil fine, and a fix it ticket.

You didn’t get any moving violations, crashs’, or fatalities... I’m sure the Mega’s did... chances are you truck is maintained better than the Mega’s are too. Chances are you know your truck better too
For the most part, they buy a new truck, and just run the wheels off it, and only fixing when the truck can’t move or maybe after enough driver complaints/ fix it ticket.

    You could try Ooida.
