So I have lived in Texas for 3 months, do I have to have live here for a least a year to get my cdl? Sorry if its a dumb question but I would really like to know, thanks!

Wouldn't think so. Give the DMV a call. They'll know.

Do you have a Texas driver's license? Where are you registered to vote? Where do you pay taxes?

If you do all of that in Texas, and have never had a CDL before, or never had any other kind of infraction or charge that would keep you from getting a CDL, then go for it.

    Joel Barzinpour Thanks this.
