You can do better then them, try:

    Millis Transfer
Watkins Shepard (I drive for them)
    Maverick
    TMC
    Conway Truckload

Remember if you go with prime DON'T LEASE no matter how hard they try to push it. And you'll be with a Trainer for a LONG time.......and USXpress is 100% auto's...........and Star they talk themselves up real good on the phone but I have yet to talk to one happy star driver:biggrin_25513:

i do believe its been said here, that US Express is getting all new truck with no more automatics...??? but he can still get one for a while, if he were to go there.

actually, Conway Truckload "might" be a better choice, as he can probably park his rig at a nearby Conway (LTL) terminal...???

i don't know this for sure either, in my post i was basically suggesting where he can park his rig when at home. like when i was at NAVL (north american van lines) i worked for "corporate Com-Trans division" we did the general freight. i was able to park at a local NAVL agent location, since the trucks are "badged".....
