Can I buy a semi truck and register and issure it on me without having a CDL Licence. My brother in law needs a truck and i want to buy it and have him drive it can i do that in any way???
yes you can the insurance is the hardest part as it be insured to you and him as driver hope he has a good record. get leased on somewhere they can help cut that cost a bit plus if you get the MC # you don't pay sales tax not sure if you get away with the no sales tax without the MC# or not.

You can own a class 8 truck without being a CDL holder. Insurance will be a small problem. (the cost).
that's why I said lease on to a company they have one to get you own you need to get your own authority and that a big deal plus high costs and I would guess more than you want to do to put your brother in-law in a truck. Follow Chiantown's advice check with OOIDA
