Just another day of Stupid with these Mega Training Companies, CRST will have to add another 5 pages to there Training manual on how to approach a Cat Scale. This was at the Pilot in Des Moines. IMG_20161203_070403826.jpg

Driver will probably sue because there's no guard rail .... And make money on the deal.

    Missed both sides too !

Ah I missed the days when I hauled paper rolls for georgia pacific. Their scales? Youd better open the door and make sure them tires are close to the guard rails. Its not a big drop but the suspension will hit the rail.

Perdue has some #### narrow, awkwardly placed scales as well. I don't miss 'em - literally AND literally again.

They let them loose too quickly. But even so, this is an embarrassment.

To train a driver to be solo ready, it should take at the minimum 6 months or a year. I hear, they can make them trainers after 6 months. I say it from my experience, things i did were horrible ---- lack of long enough and adequate training.

Imagine the destruction that would ensue if you put that driver behind the wheel of a real hood like a W-900

But that's okay. The driver was multitasking at the time so these things will happen. That text was pretty urgent.

There was a wrecker behind CRST as I took the pic, he wrecked something, saw the truck later at the shop that's there, I saw the tire was off the rim, not sure about any suspension damage.

It very well could be the trainer, these megas have people with 6mos experience training. It's a recipe for disaster.
