    what type of info will i have to give a company as far as medical,and past life history etc. during a comapnies orentation?just want to know what to expect what ill have to give out other then whats on the app. thanks

    You shouldn't have to give out medical info unless it is an insurance thing. If you are taking any drugs you will have to divulge that information because you will be taking a drug test. Otherwise ten years employment is the norm, your mvr report, any felonies, dui's etc...

    define drugs? last i checked prescription drugs (unless its like pain pills or sumthing serious)didnt show up on DOT drug screens.thanks for the info.any recent grads want to chime in on this?

    Narcotics and anything that will impede your driving. You will be asked what prescriptions you take at your physical and all the medications you are taking before your drug screen.

    so would a trucking company send a guy home for certin meds? i had a putuary tumor 3yrs ago and im on three types of meds for the rest of my life. i can drive and do the job and none of my meds impair my driving nor are mentioned in the fmca book. i have already been turned down by TMC because i was honest. they said i was to high of a risk.
