Lack of recent work history should not keep you from getting hired as much as your location. You do need to be able to document what you have been doing though. That should be all they need to keep the FMCSA happy.

That's right. Some drivers say they were working for cash, painting houses, lawncare, mechanic work, plumbing, etc. while looking for a decent full time job.
Prime won't buy that, but most other companies will.

Just reading some about Stevens, and it says you’ll change your license to a Texas license. How does that happen without actually moving to TX?

That's for Texas residents. If your license is from any state other than Texas, Stevens Transport sends you to a private cdl school and pays for it.
    Florida residents train in Tampa.

talked to Stevens today. She said from NH I would go to school in Denver, where I’d use the ‘apartment like hotel’ address to change my license from NH to Denver.

I’m not sure, but honestly that seems a little shady.

Am I wrong? Wouldn’t having a CO license without being a resident violate various state (and with a CDL Federal) law?

Earning 7 figures or millions in one year is exceptionally good were you not able to put anything away in the bank with that kind of income you could sit back and retire no need to worry about the stresses of truck driving.

Perfectly legal. The state of Colorado says it's legal.
That's an excellent school. It's Federal Government approved for the GI Bill also. Military personnel that are getting out and starting a civilian career go to that school.

Well, I did say the business went from start up to 7, not that we made 7 figures each. Also, putting money away is how I’ve been essentially retired the past few years.

I didn't realize you retired. You can put that down instead of unemployed.
